Hello everyone, my name is Edward Crutchfield. I am a lifelong resident of Jackson County and I am seeking re-election on the August 18, 2026 election for District 2. My time on the Board has been from November 2006 to November 2014 (eight years) and from November 2022 to the present time (4 years). With your approval and VOTE, I will continue to be your District 2 representative on the Jackson County Board of Commissioners. I will continue serving you with my core values of honesty and integrity.
It has been stated that “some commissioners vote to go along to get along”. I am not that kind of commissioner, just review my voting history. The agenda items I voted for or against have been done much through thought and what is best for the County. Do not think that I vote due to a personal agenda because I do not have one. I consider myself to be a public servant and put the needs of the County first. I have always considered what is right before Executive my one vote. There has to be an extremely important point brought to light for me to change my mind from a “hang tough” vote. I speak my opinion, to include what is best for the Jackson County citizens. I am not intimidated by being the one vote for or against something as that means I am keeping your well-being in mind. I will not promise to solve all situations, but within reason, I will do my best to help you.
If your VOTE returns me to office, I sincerely thank you and will continue to work with all the citizens of Jackson County. Remember, when a situation arises, do not just talk to your neighbors or friends, call me on my county phone number 850-718-8425 or my personal cell phone number 334-714-2128.
Ask me about the yellow pad with over 335 names, addresses, and phone numbers I have received since this term in office began in 2022.
