Plans are coming together for Graceville Harvest Festival

The Graceville Harvest Festival Committee has begun to release information and plans for the 40th Annual Graceville Harvest Festival planned for Saturday, October 21. This year’s festival will continue to be on the property of McNeil Technologies Inc., where the VF Outlet Mall was once located.
The Harvest Festival Pageant is back with it being held on Saturday, September 23 at the Graceville Civic Center starting at 6:00 PM. The pageant is open to all young ladies with an entry fee of $70.00 with all proceeds going to the Graceville Harvest Day Celebration. Applications can be picked up at Bush Paint and Supply and Graceville City Hall as well as being downloaded on the Graceville Harvest Festival Website. The deadline to submit applications is Friday, September 8, 2023.
Also returning from last year is the 5K Harvest Hustle. The race will take place the morning of October 21 prior to the Graceville Harvest Festival and Parade. Registration will begin at 7 AM with the race starting at 8 AM and an awards presentation following at 9 AM. Entry fees are $30 until October 4 and includes T-shirt, $35 until October 20 when online registration closes, and Race Day entry is $40. Register online at www.ITSYourRace.com. For those wanting to participate in the Harvest Festival parade or as a vendor, the following information has also been released. Parade lineup will begin at 8 AM that Saturday with it starting at 9 AM. Lineup will be on Sanders Avenue beginning at the intersection of College Drive and Sanders Avenue. Participants will line up on a first come basis. Walkers and Horses MUST line up at the back of the parade line up, in the area of Heritage Village . From the intersection of College and Sanders the parade will travel west on Sanders Avenue to Cliff Street taking a right turn on White avenue to Brown Street. The parade will travel south on Brown Street to 4th Avenue at which point the parade will end. Parade forms can be found online or picked up at Graceville City Hall.
For those wishing to be vendors at the Harvest Festival, please contact the City of Graceville. Booth cost is $40 each and is a 15x15 foot space. Electricity is an additional $20 and Direct Water Hookup is also an additional $20. No generators are allowed. Booth applications and booth fees are based on the current schedule with all payments due by Wednesday, October 18, 2023.
