Randon Tate Announces His Candidacy For Holmes County Commission, District 4

Randon Tate is proud to announce his candidacy for the Holmes County Commissioner District 4 seat.

A lifelong resident of Holmes County and a 2010 graduate of Poplar Springs High School, Randon was raised in a community built on faith, family, hard work, and neighbors helping neighbors. He is running because he wants to preserve the Holmes County way of life that shaped him so his children, and future generations, have the same opportunity to grow up, raise their families, and call Holmes County home.

The day after graduating from high school, Randon went to work at Tate’s Grocery alongside his father and uncles. Over the past 16 years, he has learned that making business decisions isn’t always easy, but good leaders make those decisions with honesty, fairness, and a focus on doing what’s best for the people they serve.

If elected, Randon will work hard every day for the citizens of District 4, the dedicated employees of Holmes County, and every resident across the county. He is committed to listening, being accessible, and making thoughtful, responsible decisions that benefit the entire community while protecting the values and quality of life that make Holmes County such a special place.

Raised to treat everyone with fairness and respect, Randon believes those principles should guide every decision made by a county commissioner. He is committed to serving with integrity, accountability, and a strong work ethic.

Randon would be honored to earn your trust and respectfully ask for your vote on August 18, 2026.

Thank you, and God bless Holmes County.
