Jacob City Day Annual Celebration next weekend

The Jacob City Day Annual Celebration will be held next weekend with the two-day event packed with fun. The weekend will kick off that Friday, September 22 with a groundbreaking ceremony and gospel concert. Then Saturday, September 23rd, 2023 - Jacob City Day Celebration which includes a kickoff parade!

Starting the event on Friday evening will be Groundbreaking Ceremony for the new City Hall, Fire Station and Community Center. That will be followed by a Gospel Explosion Concert which will be held in the Jacob City Veterans Memorial Park starting at 6:30 PM,

On Saturday the parade will begin at 11:00 a.m. Jacob City Day Celebration at the Jacob City Veterans Memorial Park will follow at 12:30 PM. The community celebration will include participation from surrounding areas, vendors, games for kids, food, fun, musical performances, live DJ, dancing, family, friends and much ore.
