Graceville’s own Kylie Holton recently competed in the Worlds Perfect Pageant and Model Search where she “represented the title of Whitesand’s Perfect Teen. During the event, Holton competed in wow wear and onstage question, gown, and swimwear categories. Holton was “ecstatic to receive placement in the top sixteen,” at her first national pageant. Going on to say, “This was by far the most competitive pageant I have been in yet, but I loved every second of it.” Kylie hopes to continue to represent her hometown at the national pageant level in the future.
Kylie is a junior at Poplar Springs High School where she cheers on the Varsity Cheer Squad and holds the title of Teen Miss Poplar Springs. Kylie is a Graceville native, just like her parents and grandparents. She has held titles in many local pageants including 2022 Miss Panhandle, 2021 Junior Miss Graceville, 2022 Junior Miss Harvest, 2022 Northwest Florida Rodeo Queen, 2022 Junior Miss Holmes County, and 2023 Whitesand’s Perfect Teen.
Academically, Kylie received the daughters of the American Revolutionary Citizenship Award, multiple honor roll awards, and is a member of the Senior Beta Club. After graduating from high school, Kylie plans on attending Chipola College to pursue a career in cosmetology. There, she plans on specializing in pageant and event hair and makeup, “to insure [she] stays in the pageant environment.”
In the meantime, Kylie plans to continue to compete until she retires from the stage to become a pageant coach. “Pageants have helped me grow into the confident and outgoing young woman I am today,” said Kylie. Before gracefully noting that she “could not do it without the support of her family and pageant village.”
