Los Amigos Mexican Restaurant in Graceville announced earlier this month it would be closing as owner Bobbie Spivey prepares for retirement after serving the local community for 40 years. Since the announcement on the local restaurant front sign, residents and customers from all over have been visiting to get one last bite of their famous salsa, burritos, and chicken fingers!
Los Amigos was first opened in 1984 by the late Ruth Price. Two years later current owner Bobbie Spivey took over and has been keeping customers happy and well-fed ever since. The local restaurant is not only known for their special dishes but also their staff including longtime server Pam White.
Located at 915 White Avenue, in Graceville since its beginning, Los Amigos has been a mainstay for visitors to the local auction, especially on Thursday nights. In a previous interview with The Graceville News from several years back, Bobbie gushed about the local community and its support throughout the years noting how grateful and loved her and the staff felt by the Graceville community. She commented, “Our customers have been a blessing to us here.”
The restaurant will officially close its doors on Friday, May 31 at 8:00 PM.
